Today I was thinking about Kardashev scale a method to measure civilization’s advancement through energy consumption.
Didn’t know when I stumbled upon a merely a fact:
"We rarely reach one goal and only then begin pursuing the next. The pursuit of a distant goal often begins long before we reach the nearer one, and the requirements of that distant goal can shape what we do today."
It was not in this exact manner but conclusion is same.
It was something like this:
"Humanity won't reach to Type 1 or Type 2 after reaching thier repective below types but....we will reach to type 1 (fact: we are at type 0.73) while we were working on type 2. Bizarre requirements of type 2 will eventually lead humanity to type 1"
